I wanted to start off by saying what an incredible blessing it is to read through these blogs and see how God is working in each of our lives. It's so encouraging to know that He is being glorified across the world. Fun, awesome stuff no doubt.
I, personally, have been diving into the community of Christ. Here at Noah's Ark in BV,CO I find myself involved in the closest thing I've ever experienced to the church God has called us to be a part of. My first year guide class has fought through many struggles of both experience and fleshly desires, but we each fight for the same prize. Running together we fulfill the gifts God has gifted us with and equally fill the positions needed in our community. We suffer together and glorify His name together, with both compassion and the power of the Spirit we unite under God. He is continually blessing me with new experiences and new opportunities to learn the lifestyle that ultimately glorifies Him. It's cool to see that through God's grace and power my purpose in life is being fulfilled for Him alone this summer. It's been a rough couple of three weeks in the world, but nothing but growth in my spiritual realm of my life. It's fun to see how God breaks us down and rebuilds us onto His rock of a foundation. I feel humbled by His creation and often overpowered by His Spirit, there is no other way to come before Him but humbled and over pouring with Him. I love it here and I love the people God has allowed me to grow with so far, but most of all I feel not just a need for Him, but a love for God and His truth in my life... something new to my perspective and new to my walk.
