A reminder of His power

I was reading some psalms today. I write in my bible alot so pretty much every chapter that I've read has at least one underline or note out to the side. Today I stumbled across a Psalm that I'd never written anything on, so I read through it. And it was a wonderful challenging reminder for me of the depth our Lord's power, which I so easily forget, too often. 

Psalm 93: 3&4

"the mighty oceans have roared, O Lord. The mighty oceans roar like thunder; the mighty oceans roar as they pound the shore. But mightier than the violent raging of the seas, mightier than the breakers on the shore- the Lord is mightier than these!"

Thinking about the vastness and incredible powerful of the ocean, it's hard to imagine a force with greater strength. But the Lord is far fiercer and mightier than any ocean tide. If  at any time this summer you find yourself doubting that the Father can conquer any trial that life has to offer, any fear, any situation, remember this. Our Jesus is infinitely mighty, and His power is far greater than my problems will ever be. Hopefully this encourages y'all, it certainly encouraged me. :)
