Two and a Half Hours

Last night I was using my Google Reader to catch up on some blogs that I normally read and I came across in my suggestion blogs one that expressed extraordinary faith, determination, and ultimately have lead thousands to J*sus

Todd and Angie Smith (Todd is a singer in the group Selah) have three beautiful little girls and were expecting their fourth daughter. They found out that their unborn daughter, Audrey Caroline, had two major problems: her heart was enlarged and lungs were not developing at all. They made the choice to keep their daughter and began to pray daily for God's healing. Angie started a blog and updated fellow friends about what was going on...the blog grew and weekly by the end of her pregnancy about 40,000 people were checking up on Audrey.(I encourage you to read their blog, it will give you a new prospective on life, read it from the beginning at http://audreycaroline.blogspot.com/) As I read every word of their story, they thanked the thousands people that were praying for their little girl. The couple maintained hope for their little girl but countless times said that God would be the same no matter what happened.

On April 7th, Audrey was born and lived two and a half hours (they were told she might survive about two minutes)! Audrey only lived for this amount of time on Earth but her life has touched thousands. It got me to thinking that if she can do this, shouldn't I be reaching more for His name since I have experience about a thousand 2 and 1/2 hour time periods? J*sus has been glorified in this family's life and thousands have come to His name because of them!

Time is short, Life is precious, and J*sus is coming soon!
